Target Objectives:

  1. Improve student outcomes by:
      Providing high quality professional learning for staff;
      Aligning the written, taught, and tested curriculum;
      Increasing student opportunities for learning;
      Maximizing teaching time for research-based best practices in all classrooms; and, Monitoring student achievement.
  2. Strengthen the parent and community partnership by:
      Increasing the communication between home/school/community;
      Providing opportunities for parental and community involvement;
      Recruiting and sustaining business partners; and,
      Scheduling monthly parent/community meetings.

  • Ensuring Literacy For All – Reading First

  • Upper Grade Departmentalization including creation of Lab Classes in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies – Third through Sixth
  • Playground Science and Math Literacy utilizing our new KABOOM playground
  • Academic Coaches to enhance the instructional program in the core curriculum areas
